Statement of Faith

We, at KMI, stand firmly on the foundation of the unchanging truths found in God's Word and declare the following beliefs:

1. The Triune God:
We believe in one true God who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each is fully and equally God, yet distinct in person. This belief in the Trinity is central to our faith and the revelation of God's nature.

2. The Word of God:
We believe in the uncompromised and infallible Word of God, which is the ultimate authority for all matters of faith and life. The Bible is inspired by God, and through its pages, we come to know the truth, His will, and His purpose for humanity.

3. Salvation Through Jesus Christ:
We believe that salvation is available to all people through the confession and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, humanity is offered the gift of eternal life. (John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10, Acts 4:12, Romans 10:4-12)

4. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit:
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which empowers believers to live victorious lives and fulfill the Great Commission. Through the Holy Spirit, believers are equipped with divine strength and guidance to carry out the will of God. (Acts 1:8)

5. The Baptism of Water:
We believe that water baptism is a public declaration of a believer’s faith in Jesus Christ. It symbolizes the believer’s identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. It is an outward act that demonstrates an inward transformation.

6. The Gifts of the Holy Spirit:
We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit, as outlined in the Scriptures, are available to the Church today. These gifts empower believers for ministry and service, building up the body of Christ and advancing His Kingdom. (Romans 12:6-8, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11, 1 Corinthians 12:31, Ephesians 4:12)

7. Signs, Wonders, & Miracles:
We believe that signs, wonders, and miracles are manifestations of God’s power that accompany the preaching of the Gospel. These supernatural acts confirm the truth of God's Word and demonstrate His love and power to a hurting world. (Mark 16:17)

We hold these truths as essential to our faith and the mission that God has entrusted to us. It is our desire to live according to these principles and to see lives transformed by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Values

At KMI, our core values guide and shape everything we do. These principles reflect our commitment to living out our faith and fulfilling the mission God has given us.

PRAYER: Prayer is the foundation of our relationship with God. It is how we fellowship with the Father and align ourselves with His will. Just as Jesus prioritized prayer, so do we. Through prayer, cities and nations can be transformed. Prayer is not just a practice; it is a core value of the early Church and a vital part of how we live out God’s will in the world. We pray, “Not my will, but Your will be done,” as we seek God’s guidance in all things. (John 15)

WORD: The Word of God is the foundation for everything we believe. The Church is built on the revelation of Scripture, and it is through the Word that we know the truth, understand the will of God, and find life. We cannot pray, worship, or live rightly without knowing the Word. It is essential in every aspect of our lives.

WORSHIP:  Worship is more than an expression of adoration; it is a form of prayer and an offering to God. True worship comes from a heart surrendered to Him, and as we raise the true altar of worship, the false altars in our lives and communities break down. Worship is our response to God’s greatness and an essential part of who we are as His people.

DISCIPLESHIP: We are called to “go into all the world and make disciples.” Disciples are learners and followers of Jesus, and they are the future leaders of the Church. Discipleship is a lifelong commitment to learning from Jesus, sitting under the instruction of His Word, and walking in His ways. The early Church devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, and we are committed to doing the same. (Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 2:42)

FASTING:  Fasting is a discipline that disconnects us from the world and reconnects us to God. It is a time to refocus our hearts, rewire our desires, and seek God’s presence. Jesus fasted for 40 days and instructed us to fast as well. Fasting is not just about abstaining from food but disciplining our bodies and strengthening our spirits to long for God above all else. (Matthew 6:16-18)

FELLOWSHIP: Fellowship is the community we share as believers. It is more than a Sunday gathering; it is a daily commitment to walking alongside one another in love and support. We gather to break bread, pray together, and encourage each other in our faith. Fellowship strengthens the body of Christ, and we are committed to meeting together regularly as the early Church did. (Hebrews 10:25, Acts 2:41-47, 1 John 1:7)

EVANGELISM: We are called to preach the Gospel to all nations. Evangelism is not a suggestion but a command to share the good news of Jesus Christ. We believe that the Gospel is the power of God for salvation, and we are passionate about reaching the lost and making disciples in every corner of the earth. (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-18, Romans 1:16-17)

FAITH:
We live by faith, not by sight. Faith is the foundation of our relationship with God, and it is through faith that we please Him. We believe that faith comes by hearing the Word of God, and that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. In every circumstance, we trust in God and walk by faith, knowing that He is faithful to His promises. (2 Corinthians 5:7, Hebrews 11:6, Romans 10:17)

HOLY SPIRIT:
The Holy Spirit empowers us to live the Christian life and be witnesses for Christ. We believe in being led by the Holy Spirit and walking in the fruit of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit guides, strengthens, and equips us to fulfill God’s purpose in the world. We desire to be a people who are continually filled with the Spirit and sensitive to His leading. (Acts 1:8, Galatians 5:16, Romans 8:14)

LOVE:
Love is the greatest commandment and the hallmark of the Christian life. We are called to love God with all our hearts and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Love is not merely an emotion, but a choice and an action. We love because God first loved us, and we seek to reflect His love to the world around us. Love is the foundation of all that we do, and it is through love that we demonstrate the heart of Christ. (1 John 2:5, 1 Corinthians 13:1, 1 John 4:7-8)

These values shape the culture of our ministry and guide us in our mission to glorify God and make disciples of all nations. We are committed to living out these principles with integrity and passion as we follow Jesus and serve others.
